About us

An image! Founded in 1965 by a local Salem minister who wished to assist the elderly in his parish with their housing needs, Oregon Housing & Associated Services has commonly been called OHAS (Oh-haas) since it's inception. When we received our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the IRS, OHAS incorporated and became nondenominational.

We now fill the housing and transportation needs of the elderly/disabled in the central Willamette Valley, and elderly/disabled housing needs throughout Oregon.
