Learn How You CanOHAS DESIGNATED TAX EXEMPTIn 1970 Oregon Housing & Associated Services, Inc. applied to the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and received the designation of an IRS Tax Code 501(c)(3), nonprofit, tax-exempt, company. This designation benefits OHAS by reducing our overhead (tax costs) which, in turn, allows us to pass the savings on to the people we serve. But it can also benefit individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts that choose to donate their assets to OHAS.

Remember, "property" can be anything of value (land, buildings, mobile homes, stocks, bonds, autos, etc.) Upon receiving your property, OHAS will give you a receipt for it's "fair market value," and then sell it to generate working capital. Your gift to OHAS assists individuals and families, living below the median income level. Without your help they are much less likely to achieve financial independence.
